Cinderella
tiny watercolor and photoshop sketch. Mostly the former. The scanner at work is severely blowing out the color in my work for some reason. With this sketch it wound up fixing some of my issues with the image, but it also blew out some of the things i liked about it, like the color in her cheek, her collar bone (which I placed back in there with PS). Hmph. Anyway, here it is, more Downton-esque studies! I’m having fun with this.
fun fact: During my time at Disney Consumer Products in 2011, I got to help out creating a turn-around model for Cindy’s new hairstyle, this was right before we were rolling out the new look. Helping out the Princess and Fairies team were some of the best times for me, it was surreal, getting to work on these characters and contribute in a small way toward their evolution.

(Oh, and I had “Sing, Sweet Nightingale” stuck in my head the entire time I was working on this)
